The Victron Energy Orion XS 1400 is a high performance DC-DC battery charger designed specifically for vehicles, boats and RVs equipped with Euro 5 and 6 smart alternators. It has adjustable input and output voltages and effectively solves the problem of voltage drop caused by longer cables or low alternator charging voltage.

Smart BuckBoost includes customizable charging algorithms and 8 preset battery modes. For lead-acid batteries, these settings ensure optimal absorption time for both shallow and deep discharge.

Complete electronic protection
The Smart BuckBoost is equipped with comprehensive electronic protection against overload, short circuit and excessive temperatures. It will automatically reduce output power when the product reaches maximum temperature.

Low temperature shutdown and undervoltage protection
To prevent damage to the lithium batteries, the charger automatically shuts down at low temperatures and when the input voltage drops below a user-adjustable value, protecting the starter battery from deep discharge.

Dust and water resistance
