It also allows easy setup of the UPS. The EcoControl feature, which automatically shuts down connected devices when the main device is switched off, can reduce power consumption by up to 20%. The Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function, allows you to continue working even when the mains voltage fluctuates without using batteries. Ellipse PRO incorporates high performance surge protection that complies with IEC 61643-1. This UPS also protects your data connection via Ethernet, internet and phone lines. Easy and quick installation The Ellipse PRO comes with either four (650/850 models) or eight (1200/1600 models) outlets for easy connection to most common computers and peripherals. Models with French (FR) or Schuko (DIN) or IEC sockets are available. The extra flat design of the Ellipse PRO UPS allows for easy installation in any office environment: The UPS can be installed vertically under a desk or horizontally under a monitor. Mounting in a 19" rack or on the wall is possible with optional mounting kits. The Ellipse PRO is equipped with a USB port and comes with a USB cable and Eaton UPS Companion software, which enables safe system shutdown, power metering and easy UPS configuration.
