The GETI GEP501LF emergency power system supplies alternating current whenever the electricity grid goes down. You can connect to it camera systems, emergency lighting, feeders, automatic boilers or pumps, for example.

In normal operation the appliances run straight from the mains. When the current disappears, the unit switches itself into inverter mode and draws energy from the connected battery. If the grid does not return, the supply shuts down once the battery voltage has dropped to approximately 10.2 V ± 0.3 V, so the battery is not discharged deeply and is not damaged.

A colour display gives you the overview, a toroidal-transformer inverter generates the pure sine wave and a fast 32-bit processor handles the control.

The set also includes a maintenance-free GETI lead-acid battery of the gel type with VRLA technology, which can be placed in any position. It suits solar and wind systems or caravans in particular, and it can serve as a replacement battery in UPS equipment, backup power supplies, alarm systems, EPS applications, telecommunications and mobile warning or signalling devices.

The box contains the GETI GEP501LF backup power supply (1 pc) and a 100 Ah lead-acid battery; the carton weighs 35 kg.

Warning: installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Protect the terminals of the connected battery against being touched, foreign objects, contact with other parts of the system and short circuits.
