The GLITTER 801A is a capacitor spot welder for spot welding of battery packs into battery packs using nickel clad plates. A welding pen or integrated arm can be attached to the station. Compared to conventional transformer welders, it offers lower weight and dimensions and higher pulse energy. The welder also allows the welding of nickel strips on an aluminium substrate. The welder is activated 20ms after the tips are applied to the seals.
