METRO Wall-Mounted Bath Faucet with Shower Set

Product detailed description

This wall-mounted bath faucet is commonly installed in residential bathrooms and commercial washrooms where space efficiency and functionality are required. The rotating spout with integrated shower switch eliminates the need for a separate shower diverter, making it ideal for installations where wall space is limited. The included 150 cm hose and 3-function handheld shower allow for flexible use in both domestic and semi-commercial applications. The 304 stainless steel construction and 35 mm ceramic cartridge ensure long-term reliability and precise control of water flow and temperature.

Installers working on new bathroom builds or renovations will find this model suitable for standard plumbing systems with standard pipe spacing. The eccentric connections compensate for minor misalignments in existing pipe layouts, simplifying installation in retrofit projects. The built-in flow restrictor helps reduce water splashing and ensures consistent performance across different water pressures. The chrome finish provides a modern aesthetic that complements a range of interior designs.

Technical parameters

The 35 mm ceramic cartridge ensures accurate and leak-free control of water flow and temperature. The 150 ± 20 mm spacing accommodates standard pipe layouts and allows for minor misalignments. The 1/2 inch G thread connections are compatible with standard plumbing fittings. The 150 cm hose length provides sufficient reach for most bathroom configurations.

Installation and connection

Installation requires two wall-mounted supply connections (cold and hot water) with a spacing of approximately 150 mm. Eccentric connections are included to compensate for minor misalignments in the existing plumbing. After connecting the hoses, the adjustable wall mount for the handheld shower can be set to the desired height. Ensure all connections are tightened securely and check for leaks after installation. A common mistake is not adjusting the eccentric connections properly, which can lead to misalignment and potential leaks.

Compatibility and accessories

This model is compatible with standard plumbing systems using 1/2 inch G thread connections. The included set features a 150 cm hose, 3-function handheld shower, and adjustable wall mount. No additional accessories are required for basic installation. The flow restrictor helps reduce water splashing and ensures consistent performance across different water pressures. No other products are recommended for use with this model.

Technical background for designers

The rotating spout functions as both a water outlet and a shower switch. Rotating the spout 90° to the left diverts the water flow to the shower hose. The 304 stainless steel body provides corrosion resistance and durability. The ceramic cartridge ensures long-term sealing and precise control of water flow and temperature. The design integrates a flow restrictor to reduce splashing and improve water efficiency. The material and construction ensure compatibility with standard plumbing systems and long-term performance in both domestic and semi-commercial environments.

Service and operation

Regular maintenance includes checking for leaks at the connections and cleaning the flow restrictor to prevent clogging. In areas with hard water, it is recommended to periodically descale the flow restrictor to maintain optimal performance. No specific service intervals are required beyond routine checks. The ceramic cartridge is designed for long-term use and does not require frequent replacement under normal operating conditions.
