The MikroTik CRS418-8P-8G-2S+RM is a modern combination of a switch and router in one compact design for mounting in a 1U rack or for use as a desktop. High performance is provided by a quad-core ARM IPQ-8072A processor with 2.2 GHz clock speed, complemented by 1 GB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND storage. The device is equipped with (16) Gbps Ethernet ports, of which (8) ports support PoE Out (802.3af/at), which allows you to connect and simultaneously power other network elements such as IP cameras and access points. The unit also features (1) Gbps management port and (1) RJ45 console port for local management and configuration. Included are (2) SFP+ slots for optical modules with speeds up to 10 Gbps. An integrated dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (4×4 MIMO) unit provides fast and reliable wireless connectivity. Transmission speeds in the 2.4 GHz band reach up to 1148 Mbps and in the 5 GHz band up to 2400 Mbps. The device is equipped with (2) independent power supplies for higher immunity to power failures. Efficient cooling is ensured by (4) internal fans and the equipment also includes a USB 3.0 port for connecting external storage, such as a flash drive.
