The MikroTik GPERx6 CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT is a rugged outdoor switch that is resistant to harsh weather conditions. It offers an IP66 rating and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. The unit can be easily mounted with a hose clamp on a pole or mast. The unit is powered via a terminal block with an input voltage of 12 - 57 V or POE-IN (802.3 bt) 42 - 57 V via Eth_Port1. The power supply for other connected devices such as switches or access points is provided by (2) Ethernet ports with a passive PoE out method of up to 57 V and a speed of 1 Gbps. If you need to connect devices that require higher data rates or are located at a greater distance from the unit, (3) 10 Gbps SFP+ ports can be used. Connection of special IoT devices such as thermostats or sensors is possible via (3) DC Out outputs. Thanks to the DC terminal block and SFP+ ports, it is possible to use a hybrid fiber optic cable that combines optical fibers for data transmission and copper wires for power supply in a single jacket. The main advantage is that only one cable is needed to connect the device.
