When only one fixture or appliance needs protecting – a water heater, a washing machine feed, a single kitchen tap – this compact 1/2" oblique filter does the job without oversizing the installation. Water passes through a fine mesh that traps sand, scale and rust, while a magnetic insert in the cleaning cartridge additionally pulls out ferrous particles that plain mesh filters let through.
