Where a 1/2" filter is too small – on the branch feeding a boiler, an electric water heater, or the distribution manifold of a flat – this 3/4" oblique sediment filter takes over. Mounted on the pipe in an angled position, it strips out sand, rust particles and mineral debris carried in the water before they reach thermostatic valves, boiler heat exchangers or downstream fittings, extending their working life. The strainer sits inside a solid brass body and is accessed through a bottom cleaning nut, so servicing takes a moment and does not require dismantling the pipework.
