Directional changes are unavoidable once pipework has to duck around a corner, drop into a wall, or reach a fixture set at an angle to the main run. This 90° elbow makes that turn in one fitting while also converting the pipe end into a 1/2'' female thread, ready to accept whatever male-threaded component sits on the other side - a tap body, valve or connecting nipple.
The PEX side crimps on with a U-profile press jaw, the standard profile used throughout the Hydroland PEX range, so a single press tool covers this fitting alongside the straight connectors. The female thread is a plain 1/2'' BSP port, sealed against the mating male thread with tape as normal. Nickel-plated brass keeps the fitting corrosion-resistant in concealed or damp locations such as behind wall tiling.
