Samsung DA97-17376B HAF-QIN/EXP is the original internal filter for refrigerators with water connection. This is an internal filter for Samsung refrigerators with ice making function. Its main function is to filter the tap water that the freezing system in the refrigerator uses to make ice cubes. The quality of the water used to make the ice affects the taste and flavour of the drinks consumed with the ice. Poor water quality can completely spoil the taste of the drink. The Samsung DA97-17376B HAF-QIN/EXP water filter uses a high grade carbon block that removes up to 99% of potentially harmful contaminants that may be present in your facility's water. The pores on the filter separate any negative contaminants from the water that affect the taste, smell and purity of the water. It also provides healthy substances such as calcium and magnesium. The filter meets NSF 42 for chlorine odor and aftertaste reduction and NSF 53 for trapping cysts, turbidity, lead, asbestos, benzene, carbofuran, p-dichlorobenzene, and mercury. The filter is compatible with the internal screw-in type of connection inside the refrigerator (HAF-QIN/EXP). For 100% efficiency, it is recommended to change the refrigerator water filter after 6 months of use.
