A traditional point drain sits in the middle (or corner) of a shower tray and forces the whole floor to slope toward one small square. The SLEEK 900 takes a different approach: a 900 mm run in matte black collects water along an entire edge instead, which spreads the fall over a wider area and makes tiling large or irregular shower floors noticeably simpler.

The channel is stainless steel from the body through to the trap, mounted on three feet that adjust independently to compensate for an uneven subfloor. The matte black cover is a plain slot - no grate, no crossbars - so from a distance it just reads as a shadow line in the tile.

Installation and compatibility: set the channel into the screed before waterproofing, connect the waste pipe (side or vertical outlet, depending on the plumbing run), then tile with a fall toward the slot from both directions. Fit the cover last.

Why go linear instead of a point drain: spreading the fall along a 900 mm edge generally means fewer cut tiles and a flatter-looking floor than sloping everything toward one central point - worth considering for larger bathrooms in particular.
