A cottage, garden house or farm building with no mains connection needs electricity just as much as any other home. This off-grid solar kit (Trina panels totalling 1820Wp, a 7.2 kWh LiFePO4 battery and a 5500W inverter) provides an eco-friendly source of single-phase 230 V AC power and frees you from dependence on the grid.

The principle is simple: during the day the panels generate electricity for your appliances, any surplus is stored in the battery, and after dark the battery takes over. You can enlarge the storage at any time by connecting further units in parallel.

• the 48V hybrid inverter with a 5500 W output copes with appliances of medium to high power draw – fridges, hobs and ovens
• it also runs power tools and electronics – computers, televisions and security systems – and covers lighting for the entire building
• where a mains connection is possible, the system works in hybrid mode: it draws on the solar panels first and links to the grid only once the battery is empty, which noticeably lowers electricity bills
• the inverter cannot feed energy back into the grid, so no registration with the distributor is required
• installation of the solar system must be carried out by a qualified person with the appropriate authorisation
• mounting parts are not included in the kit – order them to suit your needs
• the components you receive may differ from the illustration, which has no effect on the parameters or function of the set
