The UT306C professional non-contact infrared thermometer can quickly and accurately determine surface temperatures between -50°C and +500°C by measuring the infrared energy emitted from the target surface. To make it easier and more intuitive to aim the instrument at the target surface, a ring laser is incorporated to indicate the correct aim of the thermometer. The ratio of distance to diameter of the surface to be measured is 12 :1. This thermometer is drop resistant from a height of 1 meter. It is possible to preset the emissivity of the surface to be measured between 0.1 and 1.0. Indication of the preset functions and measured values is provided by a bright and high contrast EBTN colour display and limit values are indicated by a buzzer and on the display. Indication of minimum, maximum and average temperatures and deviations from the average (MIN, MAX, AVG, DIF) is possible. The thermometer switches off automatically, to reduce power consumption, if it is without use for 15 s in HOLD mode and after 10 s in other modes. Temperature measurement time is up to 250msec in 95% of cases. The device is powered by two AAA 1,5V zinc-manganese or alkaline batteries.
