Are you building your own battery storage system? Don’t underestimate the importance of insulation. This ultra-thin yet extremely durable epoxy board is a critical safety component of any professional LiFePO4 system.
When prismatic cells (box-type) are stacked on top of one another, they expand and contract slightly during charging cycles. Without sufficient insulation between the aluminum casings of the cells, the blue insulating film may be punctured, leading to a catastrophic short circuit. Our FR4 epoxy board is designed specifically for this purpose.
