Fitted under a sink, basin, or at a washing machine or radiator tap point, this angle (corner) valve isolates a single 1/2″ supply line, while the strainer built into the body traps grit and scale before it reaches the tap or appliance — handy on older installations or after any pipework has been disturbed.

Both connections are G1/2″, matching a standard flexible tap connector on the outlet side and a 1/2″ supply pipe on the inlet. The chrome-plated brass body and ball resist corrosion in the damp conditions typically found under a sink.
