The IVAR TAD022 is a digital thermostat for single-room temperature control running on safe 24 V AC. It is typically installed with underfloor heating or cooling, where its volt-free changeover contact switches thermoelectric actuators, a circulation pump or the heat source. A switchable cooling mode makes it suitable for systems used for summer cooling as well.

The wide blue backlit display shows both the measured and the set temperature. Comfort and Economy setpoints are adjustable between 5 and 40 °C; when switched off, the unit keeps the room above an adjustable frost-protection temperature. Besides the built-in sensor, an optional external IVAR STAD01 or STLD01 sensor (NTC 10 kΩ) can be connected over up to 15 m of cable – the JST connector is ordered separately.
