The FRESIA Monoblock AC FRESIA-3.5KW/P/W is a self-contained air conditioner. Everything sits in a single housing on the inner side of the external wall, so there is no outdoor unit on the façade and no refrigerant piping between two units. The air for heat exchange is drawn in and blown out through two openings in the wall, and from outside you only see two covers. This makes it a candidate wherever an external unit is not permitted or cannot be placed – flats in apartment buildings and heritage-protected façades.

It cools with an output of 3.5 kW (EER 2.6, class A) and heats as a heat pump with 2.93 kW (COP 3.6, class A+). A 1,000 W PTC heater can be added, bringing the heating output to as much as 3.93 kW. Dehumidifying and fan-only modes complete the function set.

The refrigerant is R290 (propane), 290 g, GWP 3, in a hermetically sealed circuit filled at the factory. Nothing has to be charged during installation, and the user must not interfere with the circuit; servicing is for a qualified person only. Condensate is evaporated automatically by the unit.

Installation requirements

• Mount on an external (perimeter) wall. Two core drill holes of Ø180 mm are needed; the supplied 240 × 180 mm plastic inserts are rolled into ducts.
• One Ø25 mm hole drains condensate, sloping outwards.
• Dimensions 1000 × 585 × 205 mm (W × H × D), net weight 45 kg.
• Power supply 220–240 V~, 50 Hz. Power input is 1,340 W when cooling and 815 W when heating without the PTC heater.
• Label energy use: 1.2 kWh per 60 minutes when cooling, 0.7 kWh per 60 minutes when heating.

Controls and settings

Use the touch panel with LED display, the remote control (2× AAA batteries included) or the Wi-Fi app. A timer, three fan speeds and a quiet night mode are available. Temperature can be set from 16 to 30 °C; the unit runs at room temperatures of 7–35 °C and dehumidifies above 17 °C. The washable dust filter is easy to clean.

FAQ

Is an outdoor unit needed?
No. The unit takes air through the wall openings and needs neither an outdoor unit nor refrigerant piping.

No. The circuit is sealed at the factory and needs no top-up during installation.
