The SPD series microinverter is a modern solution for the efficient use of energy from photovoltaic panels with the function of limiting overflows to the distribution grid. The system consists of a microinverter and a smart meter that monitors the household consumption in real time and optimizes energy production to avoid unwanted overflows. The microinverter converts the direct current (DC) from the PV panels into alternating current (AC), which is compatible with the conventional electricity grid. Because it is equipped with an anti-islanding function, it instantly re-generates power and isolates the voltage on the output cable in the event of a sudden disconnection from the outlet or a mains power failure. This makes it completely safe for use in the home. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology ensures maximum power output from each panel. The system enables detailed performance monitoring via the Smart Life (Tuya) mobile app, where you can monitor current production, consumption and device status, make firmware updates or limit output power. The IP67-rated microinverter is also suitable for outdoor installation and can withstand harsh weather conditions. It also has the advantage of a low DC voltage design, which improves safety compared to conventional high voltage string systems.
