The BlueSolar solar controller processes the energy from the solar panels and stores it in the batteries, maximizing solar gains, intelligently maintaining battery health and extending battery life. The BlueSolar Solar Regulator can recharge even a severely discharged battery because it can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
