The SmartSolar solar controller processes the energy from the solar panels and stores it in the batteries, maximizing solar gains, intelligently maintaining battery health and extending battery life. The SmartSolar solar controller can recharge even a heavily discharged battery, as it can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

Main features:

Ultra fast MPPT technology:
The controller continuously monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts maximum energy from them, which is particularly advantageous when the solar radiation intensity varies. MPPT technology provides up to 30% higher energy gain compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% higher gain compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Remote monitoring and control:
If your installation is connected to the Internet using a GX device, the VRM portal provides anytime, anywhere access to your devices.

Load output:
The intelligent Load Output function prevents the batteries from discharging below the limit values. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects the load, preventing excessive battery discharge. The BatteryLife feature maintains the battery and extends battery life.

Built-in Bluetooth:
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, the SmartSolar solar controller can be paired with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to set up, monitor, or update the system.

VE.Direct connector:
VE.Direct is used to connect to GX, PC or other devices.
