The new generation of UNI-T UT131 series multimeters offers a higher standard of measurement in the more affordable digital multimeter category. The innovative and industrial design with a protective case ensures the multimeter is shock and drop resistant from up to two meters. The new LCD display layout is clearer and more practical for all users, plus the display has a backlight option. UT131 series multimeters guarantee safe handling and measurements and are classified as CAT II safety category (double insulated appliances) and are designed for measurements in circuits up to 250V/ AC or DC. The display display range is ± 1.999. The fusing of the current ranges is performed by fast tubular fuses (10A range by 10A/250V fuse; mA/µA range by 200mA fuse). The power supply of the multimeter is carried out by two AAA 1,5V alkaline batteries.

The UT131A model in the UT131 series features automatic selection of the measurement range within a given measurement Vst, Vss, mVss /st, resistance, buzzer, semiconductor, μAss/st, mAss/st, Ass/st and in addition capacitor capacitance measurement in the range of 2nF to 2mF.
