The UT256 is an easy to use non-contact AC/DC current meter up to 60A CAT III 600V with automatic True RMS range. The forked clamping head design allows for more convenient current measurement on conductors up to 10mm diameter. It can detect the presence of voltage via an integrated non-contact voltage (NCV) sensor at the fork tip. With its audible and visual alarm function, this instrument allows you to get the measurement results more intuitively. The specially designed thin sheath and thin fork are very useful for measuring cables in tight spaces.
Its modern appearance, durable design, as well as features such as LCD backlight, REL, ZERO, HOLD, make the UT256 an ideal instrument for measurement. The multimeter comes with two 1.5V AAA batteries that can be easily replaced, and the easy-access door is designed for quick battery changes.
The multimeter is designed in accordance with IEC/EN61010-1, 61010-2-032 safety standards and EN61326-1 electromagnetic compatibility, and complies with the safety standard of double insulation, CAT III 600V overvoltage and pollution level 2, it is designed for indoor use.
