Sized for a house’s main distribution pipe rather than a single fixture, this 1" oblique sediment filter is typically fitted right after the water meter, where it protects every tap, valve and appliance further down the line from sand, rust and mineral debris in one go. The angled brass body keeps pressure loss low even at whole-house flow rates, and the strainer element is reached through a bottom cleaning nut for quick rinsing without draining or cutting the pipe.
