Siemens T230-C05C ULTRAHEAT is an ultrasonic heat and cooling meter with a nominal flow rate of 0.6 m³/h from the ULTRAHEAT T230 series (Siemens / Landis+Gyr). It is designed for measuring thermal energy consumption in residential and technological distribution systems, with installation in the return (cooler) pipe. The flow section contains no moving parts, which contributes to measurement reliability throughout the entire lifetime of the device.

How it differs from the WFM5.. series: The T230 measures by ultrasound, so it has no moving parts in the flow section, and its measuring range is 1:100 according to EN 1434:2007. The WFM5.. series meters are vane-type (mechanical), with a temperature measurement cycle of 36 seconds and a battery life of 10 years.
