Siemens T230-C36C ULTRAHEAT is an ultrasonic heat and cooling meter with a nominal flow rate qp of 2.5 m³/h, designed for billing measurement of consumption in residential buildings and technological facilities. It is manufactured in the ULTRAHEAT T230 range (Siemens / Landis+Gyr), and thanks to the ultrasonic measuring principle without moving parts in the flow section, it is also suitable for long-term operation with stable accuracy. It is installed in the return (cooler) pipe, with temperature sensed by permanently built-in Pt500 sensors.

How it differs from the WFM5.. series: The T230 measures by ultrasound, so it has no moving parts in the flow section, and its measuring range is 1:100 according to EN 1434:2007. The WFM5.. series meters are vane-type (mechanical), with a temperature measurement cycle of 36 seconds and a battery life of 10 years.
