The GETI GWH02D solar inverter is particularly suitable for use in photovoltaic water heating systems using the NZÚ and NZÚ light subsidy programme.

The GETI GWH02D 4000W MPPT inverter developed for PV water heating allows the direct use of PV panel systems to power resistance heating devices such as boilers, heaters, heating mats or heating coils. The inverter is also equipped with an AC input that allows the inverter to be connected to the mains voltage and heat water even when solar radiation is insufficient for heating.
The inverter is equipped with a clear display, a temperature sensor with a length of 3m and an independent temperature setting for heating water from both PV and AC mains. The GETI inverter is compatible with most boilers on the market.
The GETI solar inverter is equipped with a circuit with switching relays that connect its output either to the inverter circuit or directly to the AC grid, for which it is only pass-through. The Geti inverter is therefore only backed up by the grid (this is called bypass). Since the two power sources are separated in this way, it is not possible for the inverter to cause unauthorized overflows to the grid.
Note: The GETI GWH inverter is only suitable for resistive loads with a bimetal thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats!)
The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the mains or earth! The inverter output must not be connected to the TN-C system.
The system is simple, requiring only the connection of an appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a maximum output of 4000 W with an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350V DC, a mains voltage of 230C AC and a connection to a resistive load such as a heating coil, electric boiler, electric radiator or underfloor heating and circuit breakers.
The DC current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly to the heating devices, is converted in the inverter into AC current that can be used to power the heating devices.
The maximum output of the system is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels and if this voltage drops below 120V, the water heating will be supplied from the 230V AC mains voltage.
