The Z-CZD25 is a full-bore ball-type bibcock (draw-off tap) built for the point where a fixed water pipe meets a hose. One end takes a compression nut for a solderless connection onto copper or plastic pipe with an olive; the other end carries a hose nipple, ready for a standard garden or washing hose, so no extra adaptor is needed on site.
Being a quarter-turn ball valve rather than a traditional spindle tap, it opens and shuts with a single 90° twist of the lever and seals reliably even after long periods left open, which makes it a practical shut-off point for garages, utility rooms, allotments and outdoor tap sets.
