Main distribution pipework - the line feeding a manifold, a boiler flow/return, or a riser serving several outlets - is usually run in 25 mm PEX precisely because it has to carry more water than a branch pipe. This connector matches that pipe size with a full 1'' male thread, avoiding a bottleneck right where flow matters most.
Despite the larger diameter, the crimping method is unchanged: a U-profile press jaw secures the pipe end, the same jaw profile used on every other size in the Hydroland PEX range. The 1'' male thread is a plain BSP thread, sealed with tape or a washer at the mating joint as usual. Nickel-plated brass keeps the fitting protected from corrosion over a long service life, even on lines that stay under constant pressure.
