The GETI GWH01 solar inverter is particularly suitable for use in photovoltaic water heating systems using the NZÚ and NZÚ light subsidy programme.

The GETI GWH01 4000W MPPT inverter developed for PV water heating allows the direct use of PV panel systems to power resistance heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heating, etc. The inverter is also equipped with an AC input that allows the inverter to be connected to the mains voltage and heat water even when solar radiation is insufficient for heating.

Note: The GETI GWH inverter is only suitable for resistive loads with a bimetal thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats!)
The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the mains or earth!

The system is simple, requiring only the connection of an appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a maximum output of 4000 W with an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350V DC, a mains voltage of 230C AC and a connection to a resistive load such as a heating coil, electric boiler, electric radiator or underfloor heating and circuit breakers.

The DC current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly to the heating devices, is converted in the inverter into AC current that can be used to power the heating devices.

The maximum output of the system is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels and if this voltage drops below 120V, the water heating will be supplied from the 230V AC mains voltage.
