Autonomous operation
"Autonomous" in this case means that Eqiva products operate completely independently. No control or central units are required to operate the individual products. Instead, the individual devices can be programmed manually, individually, using dedicated controls integrated directly on the devices themselves. There is both conventional manual control by turning the head ring knob, and automatic control, whereby the head's powerful actuator will control the hot water flow of the radiator body automatically according to your needs and your pre-programmed configuration.

Saves up to 30% on energy costs
The hi-tech solution of Eqiva thermostatic heads lies primarily in the manufacturer's unique algorithm and stepper motor control mechanism. Replacing conventional thermostatic radiator heads, they control the room temperature and heating process according to individual needs, resulting in immediate savings and energy expenditure reductions of up to 30%. Each Eqiva head also has an integrated temperature sensor. Up to three adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be controlled in time intervals (up to 7 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).

Window opening detection
Preventing the flow of hot water into the radiator body and reducing the temperature during room ventilation is another step to significantly save additional energy costs. Opening of the windows during ventilation is automatically detected by the thermostatic head. Only with intelligent heating control is the room temperature of the individual rooms individually controlled and adjusted during the day depending on the day mode and current needs.

Thanks to this strategy, it is then possible to immediately save and reduce energy costs by up to 30%.

Boost function for accelerated heating
If you feel the need for an immediate increase in room temperature based on the sensible temperature, you can simply activate the Boost function on the head by pressing the control button on the ring. The thermostatic head will immediately open the valve at 80% (factory setting) for 5 minutes to allow maximum heating water flow and immediately raise the radiator temperature.

Undisturbed sleep

Maintenance-free operation and new features
The new version of the Eqiva thermostatic head is equipped with a dynamic and adaptive balancing function.
For efficient operation, the heating system piping must be hydraulically balanced. Only radiator bodies through which sufficient heating water flows can provide the necessary heat output.
Additional features such as valve protection against scale and frost ingeniously protect against the risk of calcification or freezing of the radiator valve.
Room temperature compensation is also a new feature. As the integrated sensor of the head senses the temperature close to the radiator body, a lower or higher temperature can be measured in a different, more distant part of the space. In order to achieve an even, constant room temperature, it is then possible to activate the room temperature compensation function by ±3.5 °C.

Easy installation
The thermostatic head offers a number of direct mounting options (without the need to drain the water or interrupt the heating circuit) on radiator bodies with M30 x 1.5 mm thread (practically the most common thread type: Heimeier, MNG, Honeywell-Braukmann, Oventrop, Schlösser, Comap, Valf Sanayii, Idmar, Jaga, Junkers, Pegler, R.B.M., Watts, Danfoss with RA adapter) or using the supplied adapter for most standard radiator valve ranges (RA - Danfoss - part of the package, additional adapters are available for virtually all valve types). Simply remove the existing head and replace with an Eqiva head. Once the head is mounted on the valve thread of the radiator body and started for the first time, the head itself takes the initiative and fully automated set-up and commissioning takes place, regardless of the valve type.
