Designed for OPTIMA bathroom valves, this IVAR compression fitting (code 530016CHROM) makes a secure, neat connection to heating pipework in 16x2 mm ALPEX multilayer pipe. It screws onto the valve's M 24 x 1.5 connection, while the compression ring grips the pipe.

Installation notes
Always match the fitting size and type to the pipe. Assemble the O-rings, compression ring and nut in the sequence shown in the IVAR instructions and tighten to the torque specified there. Flush the whole system before the heating is started – IVAR stresses this especially for combined underfloor and radiator systems and recommends treating the water with GEL.LONG LIFE 100.
